Pre-Application Submissions / Feasibility Appraisals

Authorised Designs can provide plans and associated reports in order to obtain pre-application advice from the Local Authority prior to the submission of a formal planning application. Pre-application advice can be of great assistance as the Local Authority will provide an understanding of the likely outcome of an application proposal and will identify any potential planning issues that could be of concern. This will allow such issues to be addressed prior to the submission of a formal application, therein resulting in more certainty and preventing unnecessary delays in the application process.

Pre-application submissions can be in the form of a meeting with the Local Authority or in writing. Authorised Designs will act on your behalf in negotiating with the Council to achieve a successful outcome whether your proposal is for an extension to a residential property or a large commercial development.
